LULAC Denison is proud to partner with LULAC National Educational Service Centers
(LNESC) to provide scholarships to deserving youth in our community. Through the LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF), every dollar raised by LULAC Denison is matched by corporate partners - allowing us to give multiple scholarships of $1,000 each year. Scholarships are disbursed in two equal payments - first at the start of a semester and then following the successful completion of said semester.

Applications are due by March 31st of the year. All applicants must have applied to or be enrolled as a full-time student in a four-year, two-year, or vocational school that leads to an associate's degree. Graduate students must have applied to or be enrolled as a part-time student in a college or university.
Only complete applications (see below) will be reviewed by the LULAC Denison Education Committee who will determine awards based on an applicant's academic record, writing ability, financial need, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. Submission Instructions
To be considered complete, an applicant must submit all of the following as a package before March 31:
- Completed and signed LNSF application form
- High school or college transcript, including cumulative GPA
- Verification of admittance or enrollment from the institution the student is attending or planning to attend (i.e., letter of acceptance, letter from the registrar, transcript, etc.)
- Typed, or neatly printed, personal essay of no more than 500 words
